Visiting Cusco is always a great adventure. Imagine walking through its beautiful high Andean landscapes and the most iconic areas offered by the capital of the Inca Empire. With this tour you can do it and even more exciting, uploaded to a metal beast with four wheels: a four-wheel drive. Admire the great rural meadows that the great Valley of the Sacred offers and those that the Inca once contemplated, but with the dose of adrenaline that their bodies need. Get to know the salineras de Maras, a salt mine exploited since the Inca period and whose origin remains a mystery. Then visit the archaeological site of Moray, named as a possible laboratory of agricultural research Inca, where they will observe the particular distribution of their platforms and the microclimates that have replicated in them. Day 1: ATVs Maras – Moray
The ATV tour starts with pick-up from your hotel (for the hours of 7:00 am in the morning) or with the pick-up from the Plaza de Armas (next to the statue of the Inca) for the hours at 1:00 pm. Then, they start the trip to Cruzpata, a small community located on the route of the Sacred Chinchero Valley, located 40 minutes from Cusco. Here they will do the pre-excursion practices with instructions from the guide. Then you will live the adventure while traveling through the agricultural areas of Maras and enjoy the beautiful landscape of the mountains in the Sacred Valley of the Incas. After a few hours of tour, you will arrive at the archaeological and enigmatic area of Moray, where you will walk a little more to take the best pictures of that wonder. Finally, they will go back down through the cultivated areas of Maras until they reach Cruzpata again in Chinchero and take the mobility to return to the city of Cusco. The tour has a distance of approx. 50km.
