One of the archaeological wonders of the world, Machu Picchu is a highlight of any visit to Peru. This ancient citadel, discovered by Hiram Bingham in 1911, is the largest of the Peruvian Inca ruins, and is believed to have been an important ceremonial site. There were connections with many roads to Machu Picchu, but currently the best known is the one used as tourist circuit, properly called “Inca Trail”; this corresponds to a route of 45 kilometers approximately, passing by high mountains and breathtaking landscapes, moving-through different floors.

Day 1: Reception at Cusco and Afternoon – City tour
Reception at Cusco airport and transfer to the hotel of your choice. Afternoon guided tour of the city and nearby archaeological sites in Cusco, such as: Cathedral, Qoricancha, Sacsayhuaman, Tambomachay, Kenko and Puca Pucara. Then return to the hotel. (Overnight in Cusco).
Day 02: Tour to Machu Picchu
Early morning transfer to railway station to board the train to Aguas Calientes and then bus to Machu Picchu. Then two-hour guided tour and a half, during which time we will have the opportunity to tour with our guide: Main Square, The Intihuatana, The fourth of the mortars, the Temple of the Three Windows, the Temple of the Condor and many other points of importance in Machu Picchu and then free time to retrace our areas of interest for its own account and then go down to Aguas Calientes, take our food (lunch) and in accordance with our scheduled train back to Cusco. transfer / Hotel.
