During the tour we will enter a cold to a warm climate in the forest. We will be surrounded by typical vegetation of the jungle, where visitors will be immersed in a world of adventure and will see different natural attractions.
This tour combines downhill mountain biking and a jungle trek to Machu Picchu. This tour does not require lengthy advanced booking.
First day: Cusco / Santa Maria / BIKE
Pick up from hotel at 7:00 to 7:30 am and heading towards the Sacred Valley of the Incas, where we can appreciate beautiful and picturesque natural attractions. We will stop after about half an hour. in the town of Ollantaytambo where you can have breakfast then continue by car for about an hour to reach the Abra Malaga (4316 masl) where we start the downhill biking after about half an hour. HUAMANMARKA we stop at the archaeological site where the guide will explain details of that place, then continue through orchards and rivers. Arrival in Santa Maria at 4:00 to 5:00 pm and during descent through the valley have the support of our guide, and emergency transportation which shall be attached only to Santa Maria where we will sleep. (Lunch, dinner and overnight).
Second Day: Santa Maria / Santa Teresa / Walk
We got up around 7:00 am. and after breakfast we start walking along the bank of the river. We witness along the way, animals of the region as birds (parrots, hummingbirds, eagles), wild cats, centipedes, lizards, medicinal plants and fruit trees like (banana, mango, orange, tangerine, cocoa, and dark pacay, coca, coffee, etc.) then reach the small town Quellomayo, rest and lunch. Then walk approx. 1 hour and from there take a shuttle to Santa Teresa, arriving at approximately 4:00 pm approx. (Breakfast, lunch, dinner and overnight).
Third Day: Santa Teresa / Aguas Calientes
Breakfast will be approx. At 8:00 am and then enjoy a couple of hours from the lodge and make tarzan activities or canopy (not included) and after approx. At 10:00 am Hydroelectric continue by car to walk and have lunch where the route and after about 5 hours we will be in Aguas Calientes.
Fourth Day: Machu Picchu / Cusco
Morning wake up at 5:00 am and 5:30 am we went to the most important archaeological site Machu Picchu, take the first bus and after approx. 25 minutes get to the checkpoint and entrance to Machu Picchu once inside we go to the top of Machu Picchu to start guiding approx. 2 hours, then have free time to enjoy yourself Machu Picchu, after that depending on the time of your return ticket will go down to Aguas Calientes and the guide will help to give instructions to have no trouble returning to Ollantaytambo and Ollantaytambo station in the shuttle will be waiting to take him to the city of Cusco, arriving approx. 11:00 pm.
